33 Questions: An Interview With Myself

1. What Do You Do For A Living?

I run my own womenswear clothing line and tailoring service. I am still in the baby years of my business, so to help fund my business costs I work evenings in a restaurant. I look at it as a way for me to wear my designs and connect more with a broader audience. I am always handing out business cards whenever someone comments on my outfit.

2. Who Do You Love?

I love my family, friends and my partner in crime Ben.

3. Do You Have Enough Money?

To be honest, I am what you call a struggling artist, but there is something beautiful about that. I look at my profit each year and it is rewarding to see my hard work paying off. I have enough money to pay bills and eat, haha, but not enough to create a fashion empire.

4. Are You Healthy?

I am physically healthy. I go for mountain bike rides, exercise weekly in the gym, eat pretty healthy, but can't deny I love sweets! Mentally, I am very strong. I have been through a lot in my life and have come out a fighter.

5. Do You Think You Are a Good Person?

I think I am a good person because I always try to see a certain situation from the other person's point of view and I'm optimistic about everything. I always wish well for others, even when they don't do the same for me. Do I think I could be a better person? Yes. I would like to give back more to my community.

6. How Old Are You?

According to my horoscope, I am wise like a 70 year old woman, but the years I've been on earth are twenty-seven years.

7. Who’s Your Best Friend?

Heather! My favorite quote that describes her:

"The best kind of friendships are fierce lady friendships where you aggressively believe in each other, defend each other, and think the other deserves the world."

We met in 6th grade in Drama class. Apparently, we didn't want to work together because we somehow didn't like each other or the "friends" we had at the time convinced us we shouldn't like each other. We had to do a project on the movie classic, Rocky. After spending many hours at her house working on the project, we realized we had a great connection. Her family accepted me as their own daughter and grandma Ann became my grandma. We use to go to the Hillsdale Mall every Wednesday and scope out our crushes, while eating delicious burger king or Wetzel Pretzel's. Sleepovers would consist of us listening to her ipod of sad n'sync songs and crying over those stupid boys (years later they now want to hang out with us). Heather and I cried when I had to go to a completely new High School, where I didn't know anyone! But the universe works in magical ways. It helped me come out of my shell and I went to so many of Hillsdale High School's dances that the staff thought I was a student. haha! After 16 years of friendship, we can go for months without talking. I can call her to have lunch tomorrow and she will make it happen. She is my cheerleader and I can't wait to see her become the best Nurse.

14. What Was The Most Important Thing You’ve Done So Far?

15. What Was The Most Stupid Thing You’ve Done So Far?

In the past, I didn't speak up for myself. One day, I just got so fed up with my manager and at my job at the time that I just handed over the keys to the store and walked out. Oddly, Christina Aguilera's "Fighter" song came on in the car. It felt really stupid to just walk out on my job like that, but I had enough and my gut was telling me to get out of there.
